Extremely rare large original first printing concert poster advertising legendary The Clash at the Musikhalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Tuesday, 12th May, 1981, presented by Karsten Jahnke in cooperation with Lippmann+Rau. The Hamburg concert was part of the group’s tour of continental Europe. In support of the. Album – their fourth studio album, produced by the band and Mikey Dread and released on 12th December, 1981 as a triple album containing 36 tracks, with 6 songs on each side. The title refers to the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, and its catalogue number,’FSLN1′, refers to the abbreviation of the party’s Spanish name, Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional. The poster measures 60.0 x 83.8 cm approx. 23.6? By 33? Inches and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. There is a tack hole to each corner and to the center of the top border, as well as a small tear to the top right corner. Else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition.
