Offering for sale a rare original 1966 Charlatans and Jefferson Airplane Rock & Roll Family Dog poster. This poster was designed by Charlatans member Mike Ferguson, in the same style and vain as the very famous The Seed Red Dog Saloon poster, which often is credited as the first psychedelic poster. This Concert took place Sat, January 8th 1966 at the California Hall in San Francisco. Featured performers being, The Charlatans and Jefferson Airplane. He personally obtained this poster before the show from the promoters family dog. He would later pin this poster on a interior wall of his apartment in the Castro district for a short period of time before packing it away, and then later moving out of San Francisco in early 1968. In the ensuing years it has sat safely stored away for the last 50+ years untouched. This poster is 100% authentic, original and unrestored. Please look closely at the provided pictures as they are the actual item. Overall condition very good to excellent with exception of the four mentioned pinholes. Size is 8 1/2 x 11.
