Official NOFX “The Final Shows” foil/metallic edition concert poster, featuring the full lineup (Pennywise, The Vandals, Frank Turner, Subhumans, Fishbone, Codefendants, The Flatliners, We Are The Union, Get Dead). This is the limited foil variant, with strong holographic rainbow reflection throughout the artwork. A must-have collectible from NOFX’s final show. Condition (Please Read Carefully). Poster is overall excellent. Condition reflects careful storage without framing. Foil surface is clean and vibrant with no major scratches or tears. Edges show minimal wear, including slight fraying visible along some borders. Poster is not perfectly flat. A small v isible edge curl / slight wave – exactly same condition as when originally bought from merch. No pin holes, no tape marks, no water damage. All flaws are clearly shown in the photos. 11.4″ x 32.4″. 1970, the year of festivals. Having played his final show on British soil at the Isle of wight Festival on 30th August, a week later he appeared at the Open Air Love & Peace Festival in Insel Fehmarn, Germany, for what turned out to be his final gig. This festival also featured Sly & The Family Stone, Taste (with Rory Gallagher), Ten Years After, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Ginger Baker’s Air Force, Peter Green, Procol Harum, Rod Stewart & The Faces, Alexis Korner, The Incredible String Band, Colosseum, and others. This poster was made in three different color variations; this is the Brown version.

One of the seminal events in rock history, February 3. 1959, was the Day The Music Died, after the final performances of rock immortals. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens. And Jiles Perry Richardson, Jr. The three stars had joined a touring rock’n roll show known as “The Winter Dance Party” which commenced on January 23. The tour, which also included Buddy Holly’s Crickets and Dion and The Belmonts, gave a memorable concert in the oddly named Surf Ballroom in the small town of Clear Lake, Iowa. Holly, the headliner, sang. Maybe Baby, Peggy Sue, That’ll Be The Day. Valens gave rousing renditions of. Come On Let’s Go. While The Big Bopper contributed his deep-throated hit. After the show, the three icons departed on a small plane in the dead of night for Sioux City, 325 miles to the east. Alas, the small craft froze up and crashed in a corn field. Don McLean later memorialized the tragedy in his smash song. Singing it was The day the music died. ” Offered here is a beautifully framed and matted poster from that concert, believed to be a reprint of the original concert poster (but with period-authentic graphics from that time), measuring 28″ H X 19 3/4 W.
