Rob Zombie – House of Blues, New Orleans Concert Poster dated 8/29/05, signed by the Artist (2005). This now-extremely scarce poster has quite a story to tell. Created for a Monday night performance at New Orlean’s famous House of Blues, the show — and in fact the entire city — was canceled out by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The artist, Allen Jaeger, barely made it out of town with only a few possessions, including this silk-screened poster. Jaeger’s shop was next to one of the cities levees; it was leveled by the storm and the subsequent flood. With most copies of this poster for “the show that never was” destroyed, this will be a rare opportunity for one lucky collector. Size is 20″ x 26″, and is in Excellent condition (please note the “water marks” noticeable in the upper lettering are actually part of the printed design, and not a flaw). Signed by the artist. JIMI HENDRIX’German’ concert poster (1969). Rare ultra rare original concert poster beautifully designed by Gunther KIESER advertising JIMI HENDRIX’s 1969 German Tour. This is the original US commercial poster printed by Darien House in 1969 with the FAKE date of January 15, 1969 which Jimi never played. This was done on purpose to differentiate it from the original German poster which sells for close to 10k whence can find a copy. Format: 25×35 (65×89 cm).
