Rare 1962 “The Four Freshmen” Quartet Hand Painted Original Concert Poster. From the estate of a music memorabilia collector. This is a truly one-of-a-kind “The Four Freshmen” hand painted concert poster from 1962. In very good vintage condition, with some normal wear around edges. Original hand painted concert poster on paper stock measures 41.5″ x 27.5″. Gold Wood Frame measures 46″ x 33″. Frame has a brass plate engraved with the date. At the time of this show, this world famous quartet consisted of. Ross Barbour – baritone vocals, drums. Bob Flanigan – first tenor vocals, trombone, bass. Ken Albers – bass vocals, trumpet, mellophone, bass. Bill Comstock – second tenor vocals, guitar.

1968 JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE HAND PAINTED CONCERT POSTER BROWN UNIVERSITY RI! This is a vintage original Jimi Hendrix hand painted poster on psychedelic embossed paper (possibly handmade paper) and mounted on board for his show at the Marvel Auditorium (gym) at Brown University held on March 8th, 1968. Accounts from the show have said it was so small that their ears were ringing for weeks and Jimi also set his guitar on fire at the end of the show! This is an unbelievable piece of Rock and Roll History from the legendary performer and greatest guitarist of all time – Jimi Hendrix. This poster is most likely the original artwork that was then screen printed and used around campus to promote the concert and sell tickets. WOW – signed on the back by Cheryl Iaciofano (possibly the artist or family member of the artist and most likely a student at the University at the time) with other sketches for rock groups the Beatles and The Grateful Dead (see reverse photo). The original poster would make a cherished addition to any original poster or vintage rock and roll art collection – museum quality. Please see photos for item condition and description – I believe the poster should be properly cleaned and conserved with archival materials and cleaning agents.
