The Melvins, House of Commons, Idle Worship, Death Sentence concert poster flyer. Offset or photocopy process. This is the first Melvins flyer for a show, and the first billed show for the band. They played two prior gigs, both in 1983 – A Thriftway (grocery store) parking lot, and an Elks Lodge. Handbill is straight-up red (orange tint in photo is due to poor lighting). I have many punk, alternative, grunge and metal flyers listed – Check them out! I have been collecting NW concert posters since the early 1980’s. Most all of my collection came from me pulling off poles/windows after shows, directly from the artists who created the work (many pieces are signed by the artist), and from a few friends/acquaintances within the collecting/archiving community. All are 100% original – no reproductions. Please check out photos for any flaws and ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing or making an offer. Most of my listings are in great condition. Some have a few staple/pin holes, or stains, tape, creases, wrinkles and so on. All have been stored flat and dry in plastic sleeves for many years. Those that collect the Kaleidoscope posters know this to be one of the set busters in the series. The Kaleidoscope used round shaped posters as a reference to their venue having a round stage.
