This is an AUTHENTIC FIRST PRINTING promotional concert poster printed in 1967. This poster was used to promote the concert headlined by The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. The show took place at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on July 11th, 1967. This was the 72nd poster from the iconic Bill Graham series. BG-72 is one of legendary artist Bonnie MacLean’s more famous images. As part of Bill Graham’s penchant for pairing different musical forms on one bill, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, perhaps the greatest saxophone soloist in the history of jazz, opened for The Paul Butterfield Blues Band. Bonnie MacLean’s original posters from the BG series are HIGHLY collectible. And BG-72 is one of the few posters which is affordable for all collectors!
