THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PRINT AND NOT A VARIANT OR RE-PRINT. DO NOT GET SCAMMED… Them Crooked Vultures is one of the rare supergroups that actually live up to the name. Made up of the dream team of Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) on lead vocals on guitar, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) on (what else) drums, and the legendary John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) on everything else, their material leans closest to the sound of Homme’s principal group. It appeared a lot of fans at the show were primarily there to see one member of the group, donning the t-shirt of the band they were there to represent. Even the pink “Dave Grohl Band” tee, complete with red heart and Ghohl’s face on it, somehow made its way onto the stage by the end, shown off by Homme. But, each member was a joy to watch play on his own. JPJ is a real pro–the man can even shred on the mandolin. Grohl took the stage wearing drummer gloves, a sleeveless tee and shorts–what else do you need to tell you that he is just going to blaze on the drums for the next hour plus. The best part was that everyone on stage looked like they were thoroughly having fun. You never see them surface! A rare gem from one of the greatest collaboration of musicians. It has been stored in an acrylic sleeve. I have worked in the live / touring music business since 1986… Over 34 years now. It will pass any authentication process you wish and is as rare as it gets. I try and provide as much information as possible regarding each item and most everything I have I have actual dates and venues they were obtained and/or signed. I went so far as to literally catalog everything I collected at a particular concert that evening or following day of the event, going so far as to keep an actual journal for over 30 years with meticulous notes. I look forward to finding good homes for these pieces… It breaks my heart to sell them, but I must part with some of them as I have literally run out of storage and refuse to rent a larger unit. All of these items have been stored in a temperature-controlled storage facility and the framed items were custom framed by a professional framing company to museum quality standards using Acid Free materials and UV / Museum protective glass. At the bottom of the printing test sheet / poster is legendary concert graphic designer Mark Arminski’s hand signed signature in pencil. The poster has some creases along the right hand side, but still displays GREAT! While there are a few of the posters for this show floating around, this is the first and only artist’s color proof for it.

This is a large lithographic canvassed print measuring 30 inches by 40 inches in size. The print is based on the original 1969 concert poster featuring Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull, created by artist Frank Bettencourt. The lithograph offered here is an exact replica of the authentic & authorized first print poster designed by artist Frank Bettencourt. The print offered here has been individually numbered #1/5 ARTIST PROOF! Yes, this was the VERY FIRST lithograph in the limited series released by the artist. Frank did 5 artist proofs and 25 for the series. This is the very first one to come off the printer! It’s also the same one used to market the special release. Frank has assured me that there won’t be any more of these released… So this will always be the Holy Grail from the limited series! In addition to being individually numbered, the beautiful print is also hand signed by artist Frank Bettencourt. This is a one-of-a-kind piece!
