SCARCE from Berlin East Germany. This is a Vintage SLAYER 1985 SLATANIC WEHRMACHT Concert Band POSTER. In 1985 Berlin was in then separated East Germany a communist country. However in June of 1985 Slayer was on a World Tour (Combat Tour: The Ultimate Revenge) and was touring with other bands (Venom, etc) and this band poster was made by either the band itself or the venue Quartier Latin (The Latin Quarter). It is SCARCE because #1 it was so rare to have bands come into East Germany at that time but also #2 that this piece survived. It looks to be constructed on 5 pieces of paper and taped together primarily on the rear (see pictures). The paper is a copy of the original assuming they made multiple copies to hang around Berlin and the venue itself. The condition is actually stellar considering the circumstances and would look amazing framed. It measures a long 33″ x 21″ and would be a centerpiece for any collector. Oh, how did I get it you may be thinking. A roadie (unknown name was held back even to me) who was with the band collected the pieces and I got it in the estate. Quite a find and I did pay up for it.
