This is the original concert poster from 1969 Northern California Folk Festival, that featured both Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. Also on the bill was Jefferson Airplane, Muddy Waters, Spirit, Chambers Brothers, and many others. This came from a stash of the original posters from back then. This is the original 4 color printed poster from back in the day. This is for the music collector looking for a grail level item to add to their collection, hang in there man/woman cave, you get the idea. It is 14″x20 1/5″ and is in amazing condition. This is an authentic original (printed BEFORE the concert) handbill / flyer advertising. JIMI HENDRIX, GRATEFUL DEAD and Steve Miller Blues Band, MC-5, Jam Factory – all one one bill! Appearing May 16, 1970 at Temple Stadium in Philadelphia, PA. It measures 6 1/4 x 5 3/4 inches and is in VG+ condition, one small tear, approximately 1/2 – 3/4 of an inch on the right upper edge. Because this is printed on a sort of rough newsprint-like paper the tear disappears into the handbill unless you look for it. The reverse side is a survey of the weeks hits on WFIL Boss 30 radio.
