Grateful Dead original 1st printing concert poster for the July 14, 1970 performance at the Euphoria Ballroom in San Raphael. Euphoria, also known as Pepperland, was a small venue that featured Bay Area bands. This is probably the best known poster from this venue and Euphoria print runs were small with only one printing. Art is by Tad Hunter – a leading poster artist from the San Francisco 1960’s scene who signed his posters “San Andreas Fault”. An additional date was added after the poster was printed and most surviving posters have handwritten dates in the area below “Grateful Dead”. This poster is one of the few original posters with no handwritten dates. The poster measures 13 3/4 x 18 inches. Overall condition is VG-Fine. See Condition section for details.
