Check out our other listings for more! These are highly collectible museum quality prints. ITEM DESCRIPTION. Created in 2000 for a concert by The Indigo Girls at Manhattanville College, NY. This is a very rare printers proof sheet. These are how the poster comes off the lithograph press before they are trimmed to poster size. Along one edge you see smaller versions of the art called “handbills”. This is hand signed by artist Bob Masse who designed this poster. Masse is an original 1960s poster artist who has done posters for many of the legends of rock and roll.

This is a very rare an unique art print in it’s raw form. This is how lithographs come off the press. This one features handbills down the right side. These would usually be trimmed down into the art print itself and the handbills separate. Proof sheets are typically made to show print quality before the print run. They are rare and often kept by the artist.

You can see down the right side of the sheet the colors that were used in the design. Each color is printed individually using a print plate. Uncut sheets are usually the first off the press and are checked for quality before the main print run. Only a few of these exist.

This sheet is a VERY THICK plastic , not a paper sheet and the image on the ticket changes based on the sheets angle to you as it is a LENTICULAR plastic sheet. I have included a shot of the close-up image and you can see the changes that the sheet has by looking how the image changes from left to right on the sheet of tickets.
