Well it doesn’t get much rarer than this. There’s a lot of supposedly original Iggy Pop autographs on the internet but very few have any kind of provenance. I obtained this autograph directly from the man himself after waiting with a small number fans in the laneway behind Thebarton Theatre after his concert in Adelaide on Monday 25th of March 2013. I couldn’t believe my luck in scoring a setlist from the stage after the show. Getting to meet Iggy and have it signed was amazing. He was really friendly and kind to the fans who waited after the show to meet him and in classic Iggy style was wearing an Iggy Pop t shirt! As far as I know this was the only setlist signed that night. Markings (for a capo) indicate this was guitarist James Williamson’s setlist. Along with the setlist I will include the original poster for the show (as pictured). I also have my ticket somewhere and if i can find it I’ll include it with the sale. It’s hard to part with something that’s a reminder of such a special memory but I need to downsize, so it’s time to find a new home for this precious collectible.
