This is a three piece lot, including the original handbill and two letters. One, signed by and from, John L. Criner at Universal Attractions, offering JB for May 17, 18 or 19, 1966 to promoter Maynard McKissick from Penn-World Attractions in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and an unsigned typed reply from Maynard declining but expressing interest in a future booking. The handbill measures approximately 7 x 9 1/2 inches and is in VG+ condition with an elongated staple hole from being attached to the letter when it was first sent, an age spot on the left edge and two horizontal folds from being folded for mailing, and slightly bumped corners. The letter from John Criner also exhibits the staple hold and two horizontal folds from mailing. The reply letter is unfolded but has a clean staple hole in the upper left.
