This poster is incredible -over 58 years old -Recently acquired. Epitomizes the “SUMMER OF LOVE” in San Francisco. Early number from Bill Graham posters. There is some controversy about whether there was a 4th but according to well recognized experts at Wolfgangs/Classic Posters and others this is a 3rd post concert poster. Signed by the artist Wes Wilson. The famous Jefferson Airplane and Butterfield Blues Band along with Muddy Waters were the performers. Concerts took place San Francisco at Winterland 9/23-9/25 and Fillmore Auditorium 9/30-10/1 1966. There are slight dings in all corners/ COLORS ARE EXTROIDINARY -Will frame beautifully. VintageAffair ratings all posters are. Stored flat in non smoking climate controlled archival setting. Mint – original condition when printed/no flaws/colors brilliant. Near mint – slight flaws colors brilliant. VG+ + no more than 4 flaws/colors brilliant. Very Good – slight wear & 1 flaw. Good minus – slight wear and 2 or more flaws. Available is a unique concert poster of George Strait and The Ace In The Hole band. This poster is authentic and also includes George Strait’s autograph. The auto is faded but you can still see it. The poster is obviously worn with tear/creases which actually adds to the vintage vibe this poster offers. This poster promoted a gig at the Broken Spoke in Austin, TX on June 24th, 1982. I believe one of these posters still hangs inside the Broken Spoke. The frame is from Hobby Lobby and has UV protective glass. Frame dimensions are 21×27. Please contact me with any questions.
