Unique, one of a kind, o riginal vintage first printin g concert poster advertising the Miles Davis Quintet at the Teatro Sistina in Rome [Italy] on Monday, 27th October, 1969. The concert in Rome was the second stop on the Quintet’s Oct/Nov European tour, having performed two concerts at the Teatro Lirico in Milan the day before. The concert was broadcast by Italian TV and a 28 minutes recording exists. After the Milan and Rome shows, the quintet went on to visit Vienna (31st Oct), London (1st & 2nd Nov), Paris (3rd Nov), Copenhagen (4th Nov), Stockholm (5th Nov), Berlin (7th Nov), Liege (8th Nov), and finally Rotterdam (9th Nov). Although most of the performances from this tour were recorded, the short-lived quintet was never recorded in the studio. The poster measures 34.7 x 99.3 cm approx. 13.7″ by 39.1″ inches and is beautifully printed on thin, light coated paper stock (coated on front only).
