Vintage 1967 Sausalito Dance Concert Music Poster Big Brother & the Holding Co

This Listing is for an Original Vintage First Printing 1967 Music Poster of the Sausalito Dance Concert featuring Moby Grape and Big Brother & the Holding Co. The Poster was published in 1967 by Portal Publications Ltd. Up-and-coming star Janis Joplin and her band Big Brother and the Holding Company were the opening act. Within a year Janis would be a Rock Superstar. The Poster measures 16″ x 22″ inches. This Poster has been kept for over 50 Years in Excellent Condition by our Clients. However, there are some very minor condition issues that were present when they originally acquired it. The Top Right Corner has a crease and a slight bend in the material (see Listing Pic #4). And there is some slight edge wear on all four corners (see Listing pics #3, #5 & #6). Of the poster which would be typical of Vintage Era Artifacts. But that’s it! Overall, this poster has Sharp Details and Vivid Colors as if it was printed a few years ago. Rather than over 50 years ago! Let us know if you have any questions.

Original Family Dog Concert Poster. FD21-OP1 First Printing “Earthquake”. Big Brother and the Holding Company. Live at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco August 12, 13, 1966. Condition (see image): Very Good considering the posters age. Pinhole damage in corners, 1cm missing paper on bottom border. The image is still very vibrant and would look great framed! Printed in bright red and blue, this poster has a central image of the Sonoma County Court House just after the 1906 earthquake.
