This historic piece was designed by iconic Texas counterculture poster artist Jim Franklin (JFKLN) for the October 1970 performances (October 9-10 for Lipscomb with Ginger, and October 2-3 for King with Wildfire/Storm). Notably, the band “Storm” opening for Freddie King featured a young Jimmie Vaughan (brother of Stevie Ray Vaughan) early in his career. Dimensions: Approximately 7″ x 10.3″. Format: Original first-printing concert handbill. This piece is in exceptional, collector-grade vintage condition. It features clean edges, rich and dark black ink, crisp white contrasts, and has been meticulously preserved. There are no pinholes, tape residue, or severe creases typical of venue-used paper ephemera from this era. Please see the high-resolution photo to inspect the exact condition. Don’t miss the chance to own a foundational piece of Austin, Texas music and poster art history!
