Psychedelic Fest Concert Poster Wetlands NY John Popper Wavy Gravy 90’s Vintage
The Wetlands opened in New York City in 1987 and became “ground zero for post-Grateful Dead jam bands”. This poster from Psychedelic Fest on May 9, 1990 has some cool music history on it. Autographed by Tom Constanten, keyboardist for Grateful Dead (1968-70), it features Merl Saunders who collaborated with Jerry Garcia on many projects. Also included John Popper the year his band Blues Traveler released their first album. El Chicano was a well known Los Angeles rock/funk/soul group fronted by Bobby Espinosa who was a member of the East LA surf group Mickey & The Invaders. Wavy Gravy was an iconic 1960s entertainer and peace/anti-war activist. Colors are very vibrant. Measures about: 15.125″ x 22.125″. Please see photos for details.
