Very rare Blind Boone Concert Company poster. At the top it is stamped Christian Church, Clinton, Fri. Clinton was probably Clinton, Illinois. Boone died in 1927. The poster has the date of Friday, May 7. Friday May 7 fell in 1915, 1920, and 1926. The poster says it is the fortieth season. Online references state he started touring in 1880, so that would date this to 1920. At the bottom it is penciled in 1921 or 1927. 11 by 12 inches, printed on cardboard. NOTE there are obvious condition issues. Unfortunately, it has been trimmed on both sides. Three of the corners are damaged. The bottom is stained. Examine photos for condition.
