It’s a Kerry Awn original for Doug Sahm and friends at the Ritz on November 1-2, 1974 – the exact “Midnight Groovers” all-night show with Willie Nelson, Link Davis Jr. Augie Meyers, and Ramon and Ramon. Awn’s name carries real weight in the Austin scene, and this is the same design the artist’s estate still sells as a high-quality reprint for forty bucks. Your copy has a couple of edge nicks and a small tear at the top, so knock it down from the mint examples that hit one-twenty to three-sixty.
