This is an original (guaranteed printed BEFORE the concert) boxing style handbill / flyer advertising an incredible show. THE BIGGEST SHOW OF STARS for 1958 starring (and listing their current hits, as well): SAM COOKE (“You Send Me” “Lonely Island”), CLYDE McPHATTER (“Without Love”), PAUL ANKA (“You Are My Destiny”) , George Hamilton 4th (“Now And For Always”), LaVERN BAKER (“Jim Dandy”), FRANKIE AVALON (“De-De Dinah”) , The Silhouettes (“Get A Job”), The Royal Teens (“Short Shorts”), The Storey Sisters (“Bad Motorcycle”), The Crescendos (“Julie”), JIMMY REED (“Strings To My Heart”), The Monotones (“Book Of Love”), The Playmates (“Jo-Ann”), Bobby Marchan, Jimmy Dell (“Teeny Weeny”), Huey Smith and the Clowns (“Don’t You Know It”), and Harold Cromer – Master of Ceremonies. All appearing on April 14, 1958 at The Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh, PA. This handbill measures 6 1/4 x 9 inches and is in beautiful VG+++ condition. There is a vertical fold that has long since been flattened as this was probably kept in a program all these years, and a very light small brownish stain that shows almost completely on the reverse only. You can see a bit of it on the top border above the ow in the word Show. The colors are bold and bright and not at all faded. Please see photos for an accurate condition report.
